I was born in Orlando, Florida and lived there for twelve years until I moved to Woodstock, Georgia. I grew up in a single parent household which was probably the best thing for me seeing that my father doesn’t help out with financial needs, especially when I need it the most like for my surgery. When I was six years old, I underwent open heart surgery. That was a big deal because if I didn’t have that surgery I could’ve passed away because I was not getting blood to my heart. After this little hiccup in life, everything has been going well.
Because of only having one parent, I grew up more independently responsible. From the young age of a toddler to my current teenage years, I have had to help out around the house more than most kids because it is just me and my mom. On top of that, I am huge on commitment. I have cheered for All-Star competitive, which is year round, for nine years and I just recently quit. With cheer, came many sacrifices because it took up all of my time so I wasn’t living as freely as most of my friends. However, I cheered for my high school and have done for all four years which were great experiences.
At this point, I have started my freshman year of college. I don’t do as much as used to so right now life is going good and flowing easily. Now I have the big question “what do I want to do with my life.”
